This is the SUB2 MK1 by MODVAPA this is a sample tank
The design of this tank is nice and appealing to the eye and is very easy to gauge how much juice is left in tank to avoid dry hits.
This is a bottom filling tank which alone has some issues when you are ready to fill tank back up make sure you turn device upside down before trying to unscrew from mod i found that just grabbing the Pyrex and twisting will only unscrew the top half of the tank from the base because of the bottom airflow control makes it hard to get a good grip on the base to remove from device
Ranking 8 out of 10
This has bottom air flow control which does not lock in place and can be easily caught and adjusted myself i would have liked this to be a little stiffer or lock in place not go 360 degrees round maybe half turn and lock would have been better.
The drip tip i received was different to what was specified on MODVAPA site, on site it has top and bottom airflow control but most all standard drip tips fit this tank so your not stuck with one basic drip tip you can change it up.
the coils for this tank are vertical and are interchangeable with the SUB2-MK2
the casing for this coil you can adjust to change juice flow to suit your needs which also helps with tank flooding issues.
the coil cover easily unscrews of the coil as shown in this image here i found the cotton didn't have an after taste like some coils do and was easy to change out
to find out the Ohms of the coil look on the base of the coil i would have liked to have seen color coded O rings for the different coils to make it easier to see what ohm the coil is for us that have bad eyes
the specs of this tank are as follows
i found around 30w to 40w on the 0.5 ohm coils produced great flavor and good vapor
on the 0.2 ohm coil again around 30w to 45w produced good flavor and vapor
on the 1.2 ohm coil i took this up to 120 but vapor was too hot to vape i found it comfortable at around 80w to 90w good flavor and good vapor produced
the Ni200 coil worked best for me at around 450F
i tested this tank on a number of mods i started with the BOX MK1 from MODVAPA then tested on Aspire Pegasus then on Joytech Evic VT then on Pioneer4You iPV4s
this tank held up very well on all devices at low temps and high temps
